Andra G didn't set out to become a designer. Music came first, then a detour through tech and biopharma, a strange middle chapter before she found her way back to something she could build with her hands. She taught herself design the hard way: by cutting up, taking apart, and rebuilding materials that already had a past.
That's the DNA of BLOC44. Every piece starts as something else; deconstructed, reconstructed, given a second life. The label runs on contradiction: raw and refined, chaos and control, softness pushed up against structure. Nothing is mass-produced. Most pieces exist once, maybe in a small run, never meant to be common.
Music still runs underneath everything through the tempo of a collection, the tension in a seam, the mood of a single piece. Andra doesn't think in seasons or drops. BLOC44 is one continuous world that keeps evolving, one experiment at a time.
LOVE YOU 4EVER,
ANDRA G.
